FAQ

  • How do I book?
    Via the “Book OTO” button: you reach me by SMS, WhatsApp or email from the form. In an emergency, call +33 6 36 04 64 65 — I’ll call you back as soon as I can, as I’m driving throughout the day.
  • How does booking work? How can I pay?
    As a private-hire service, booking is required. Based on your request, a detailed quote is sent to you. Payment is made via a payment link (bank transfer, details at the bottom of the quote) — the invoice is sent once payment is received. On the day itself, card or cash is possible for trips under €30, with the invoice received the same day. Cheques are not accepted. The booking must be paid in full before departure.
  • How is the price of a ride calculated?
    The distance used is the one shown by Mappy between your pick-up point and destination. For driver-at-your-disposal services, please let us know when requesting a quote if you expect to travel more than 50 km during the service. Additional kilometres are billed using the long-distance rates shown above.
  • What is a driver-at-your-disposal service?
    For 2 hours, your driver takes you wherever you wish and waits for you. You may make as many stops as you wish during those 2 hours. The service is limited to 50 km. If you expect to travel more than 50 km, please discuss it with us when requesting a quote; we will always ask whether you expect to exceed that distance. During the 2 hours, OTO may decline a final journey if it risks exceeding 50 km. A 1 km allowance applies.
  • Why are there two VAT rates?
    A ride from point A to point B is billed with 10% VAT. Making a driver and vehicle available (hourly hire) is billed with 20% VAT.
  • Are you a professional driver?
    Yes. Professional card visible at the front of the vehicle on the driver’s side, two red badges on the front and rear, a technical inspection less than a year old, and professional insurance and vehicle documents that can be shown to the authorities.
  • I need assistance during my ride
    A stress-free, calm ride, with no music if you prefer: you decide. Respect for differences and attention to everyone are part of OTO’s DNA.
  • My dog doesn’t fit in a closed carrier
    No problem: let me know when booking so I can prepare the car accordingly.
  • I have an assistance dog
    Assistance dogs are always welcome, no conditions.
